Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
After arriving at the Delhi airport and railway station get transferred to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities at the pre-booked hotel and leave for sightseeing covering the major attractions of Old and New Delhi. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi - Shimla
after breakfast, move to the New Delhi railway station to catch a train to Kalka. Once you reach Kalka, get transported to Shimla by road. On reaching, check- in at your hotel. If time and energy permits, you can explore the surroundings on foot. Stay overnight.
Day 3: Shimla Sightseeing
Have your breakfast and leave for sightseeing in and around Shimla that is going to include a visit to Kasauli and Kufri valley. During your visit to these two places, you can explore the beautiful lush valleys surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Enjoy a nature walk or trekking here. Once in Shimla, do not miss visiting the ancient Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanumana. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Shimla - Manali (265 kms)
After breakfast, get transported to Manali by road. As you reach Manali, check into your hotel. If you want, then you can explore the surroundings on foot admiring the picturesque location or can simply relax or can visit the market. Stay overnight.
Day 5: Manali sightseeing
After having your breakfast, leave for sightseeing of Manali where you are going to cover the major attractions of hill station such as the ancient temple of Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village. The evening is free for leisure activities where you can visit the market. Stay overnight.
Day 6: Manali
6th day is fixed for sightseeing where you will go to Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Solang Nalah and at the last Rohtang Pass. The first three places are extremely well-known for their beautiful and mesmerizing landscape while at Rohtang Pass and Solang Nalah, you can try your hand at a number of adventure activities such as zummaring, para-gliding, rock-climbing and many more. Treat your eyes to the surrounding beauty. Return to Manali for staying overnight.
Day 7: Manali - Manikaran (85 kms) - Kullu (45kms)
The day after breakfast is booked for visiting Manikaran, the hottest Suplhur Spring Waters in the world. This religious site is visited by both Hindus and Sikhs in large numbers. On the way back towards Kullu, you are going to halt at the famous Kullu Shawl Industry, where you can do a little shopping for your loved ones. On arriving in Kullu, check-into your hotel for an overnight stay
Day 8: Kullu - McLeod Ganj (Dharamshala) (200 kms)
After breakfast, get transported to McLeod Ganj (Dharamsala), by road. It is a beautiful hill town that houses a large population of Tibetan refugees and a popular destination amidst foreign tourists. On arrival, check- in at your pre-booked hotel.The day is at leisure where you can explore the surroundings on foot, can relax and admire the beauty around you. Stay overnight.
Day 9: Dharamshala
After breakfast is free for a tour of Dharamshala where you are going to cover the major attractions that are going to include Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. All these places are filled with a lot of natural beauty. The evening is free that you can spend at your own discretion, rejuvenate your tired mind, body and soul.Overnight stay.
Day 10: Dharamshala - Dalhousie (145 kms)
Today after breakfast, travel towards Dalhousie by road. This is a serene hill station filled with a lot of unspoiled natural beauty. Named after Lord Dalhousie, it was established as a summer retreat during the British Raj in 1854. It is a popular tourist destination of the country. Once you arrive, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. If time and energy permits, then you can move out of room to treat your eyes to the surrounding picturesque locations. Stay overnight.
Day 11: Dalhousie
Have your breakfast, leave for sightseeing of Dalhousie. Some of the well-known attractions which you can cover are the scenic landscape of Bakrota Hill, Pangi View and Bathri View. You can also visit the waterfalls of Subhash Baoli, Satdhara- 7 springs blessed with medicinal properties and Panjpulla- a memorial with 5 bridges. Night stay.
Day 12: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Chamba - Dalhousie
Post breakfast, you are going for a day-trip to the amazing locations of Khajjiar and Chamba town. You can do numerous activities here such as enjoy horse riding, nature walk, zorbing or if you want then you can also visit the popular attractions as well that will include lakes and temples. Return to Dalhousie for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Dalhousie - Pathankot - Delhi
Have your breakfast and get an on-time transfer to the railway station of Pathankot (Chakki Bank - 90 kms) to board a train to Delhi. Overnight on-board.
Day 14: Depart from Delhi
On arriving in Delhi, you will get an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel where you can relax. Later get an on-time transfer to the airport or the railway station for your onward journey.
