Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi, meet our tour representative who will help you with guided transfer to one of our listed hotels where you can complete the check-in formalities.
An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Savor a hearty breakfast. Post this, get ready to explore the popular attractions of Delhi which reflects its heritage and age-old culture. The first attraction of the day is the Laxmi Narayan Temple which is alternatively known as the Birla Mandir. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Goddess Laxmi, the sacred place is truly beautiful. Next, you will be moving to other iconic places like India Gate – an archway commemorating thousands of martyred soldiers, Parliament House – a circular colonnaded building, Red Fort – a historical fortification with impregnable red sandstone walls, Gandhi Memorial, Jantar Mantar and Qutub Minar – a 73m high tower and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Once done with exploring the attractions, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra
Start your day with an appetizing breakfast. Thereafter, you will be comfortably transferred to your destination, Agra. On reaching Agra, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later on, proceed for Agra city tour which starts with visiting very famous the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday). An epitome of love, the white marble mausoleum beguiles with its sublime beauty. Reckoned as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After this, head towards the Agra Fort. The imposing fort fascinates with its architectural excellence. Rulers of the Mughal Dynasty dwelled in here till 1638. Subsequently, proceed towards the Itimad-ud-Daulah Tomb. Fondly known as the Baby Taj, the tomb is made up of white marble and often looks like a ‘Jewel Box’. Return to the hotel and spend rest of the day leisurely. Day 4: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Wake up early in the morning to marvel at the spectacular views of the Taj Mahal during sunrise (optional). Reach the hotel for a delicious breakfast and complete the check-out formalities after satiating your hunger. Hit the road to Jaipur. There will be a halt en route at the Fatehpur Sikri, a wonderful city which is inscribed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. While on your excursion to Fatehpur Sikri, you will be astonished to see the architectural brilliance of the artisans of the bygone era. Buland Darwaza – a huge gateway, Jama Masjid – one of the biggest mosques in India and Tomb of Salim Chishti are the highlights of the ancient town. After exploring the city, resume your journey to Jaipur. On reaching one of the pre-decided hotels in Jaipur, check-in and unwind. An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur city tour
Dotted with numerous iconic places to visit, Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’ is famed for its world-class hospitality. The city tour of Jaipur starts with an elephant ride to the Amber Fort. Comprising of a huge palace complex, the splendid fort is built up of pink and pale yellow sandstone and white marble. Once done with enjoying at the Amber Fort, you will proceed towards your next attraction, the City Palace. Adorned with attractive gardens, vast courtyards and several edifices, the stunning city palace is a souvenir of the majestic history. The Royal Observatory is your next stopover which consists of a group of astronomical instruments showcasing architectural brilliance. Call it a day and return to the hotel for dinner. Day 6: Jaipur - Mandawa / Alsisar (Shekhawati)
Enjoy a road trip to Mandawa in the morning. Popular for its forts and havelis, Mandawa is a quaint little town having umpteen paved archways. The vibe of the town reflects the cultural and social environment of the destination. A paradise for art lovers, the town is a must visit. Upon reaching Mandawa / Alsisar, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. The evening is scheduled to explore the Shekhawati region which features a bounty of brilliantly painted havelis. After the decline of the Mughal power, wall painting in Shekhawati came into the picture. Earlier, the artists depended mainly on the traditional Indian subjects. This consisted of scenes from mythology, especially of Lord Krishna, local legends, flora and fauna, daily lives of natives, towns and the Shekhawat Rajas. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Mandawa - Delhi
This is the last day of the Golden Triangle with Mandawa tour. After having your breakfast, head towards Delhi. Once you reach Delhi, you will be comfortably transferred to the Delhi airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
