Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
After reaching Delhi, meet the our representative who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is absolutely free for doing leisure activities. You can shop at the popular markets or can gorge on some lip-smacking street food of Delhi. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi
Day 2 is fixed for sightseeing in Delhi. Have your breakfast and leave your room. You will cover Delhi’s attractions like Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate and Parliament House. Post lunch visit will include the Old Delhi attractions- Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun Tomb and Gandhi memorial. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Haridwar
Today, you will hit the road to go to Haridwar, after breakfast. Once you will reach Haridwar, check- in at your hotel. Later, you can take a dip in the holy water of the river Ganga. Attend the evening Aarti at the Har - Ki - Pauri. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Haridwar - Syana Chatti
In the morning, have your breakfast and leave for Syana Chatti by road. This is a beautiful picnic spot, located on the banks of River Yamuna. Once you reach, check into your hotel. You can easily take a break and treat your eyes to the lush green surroundings of the place while being in the lap of nature. Stay overnight.
Day 5: Syana Chatti - Yamunotri - Syana Chatti (5 kms By Road and 13 kms trek-one side)
In the morning, drive towards Hanuman Chatti (the meeting point of river Yamuna and Ganga) from where your trek to Yamunotri, the seat of Goddess Yamuna and the first destination of Chardham Yatra, will start. Have Darshan and perform Pooja at the main temple. Also visit Surya Kund and Divya Shila here, which a rock idol. Return back to Syana Chatti for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Syana Chatti - Uttarkashi
Today after breakfast, you are going to begin your road journey to Uttarkashi via Badkot. Uttarkashi is a place, which is in second in command in Hindu religion after Varanasi. Located on the banks of river Bhagirathi, it has a temple dedicated Lord Vishwanath. Other places that you can visit are the temples of Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi. Stay overnight.
Day 7: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Today you will drive towards Gangotri, the second destination of the Chardham Yatra and the seat of Goddess Ganga. Once you reach, have Darshan and perform Pooja at the main temple of Gangotri that was commissioned by Amar Singh Thapa, Gorkha General, in the 18th Century. The other visits are going to be the natural submerged Shivling rock, Kedar Ganga Sangam and the Gaumukh Glacier. If you want then here you can take a dip in the ice-cold water. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 8: Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag
Enjoy an early breakfast on day 8 and begin your road journey towards Rudraprayag. It is the meeting points of river Alaknana and Mandakini. After reaching, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Visit the popular temples of the place such as Rudranath temple, Chamunda Devi and Koteshwar Temple. Overnight stay.
Day 9: Rudraprayag - Gaurikund - Kedarnath
After breakfast, begin driving towards Gaurikund. If the legends are to be believed this is the place where Goddess Parvati, also known as Gauri had meditated for Lord Shiva. This is a hot water spring situated at an altitude of 1882 meters. Once here, have Darshan at the Gauri temple. Now your trek to Kedarnath will start from here. After reaching Kedarnath, the third site for Chardham Yatra, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Kedarnath - Gaurikund – Rudraprayag (14kms Trek (Back) and 78 kms)
In the morning, have Darshan at the main Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is also one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines of Lord Shiva. Afterwards, embark on a return trek to Gaurikund. On arriving, begin driving towards Rudraprayag. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight here.
Day 11: Rudraprayag - Joshimath
After breakfast, drive towards Joshimath (Badrinath). This is a religious spot that is located on the slope, above the meeting point of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. This is one of the ‘Maths’ that were established by Adi Shankaracharya. Have Darshan at the temple. Treat your eyes to the amazing surrounding greenery. Stay overnight.
Day 12: Joshimath - Badrinath
On day 12, you will drive towards Badrinath via Govind Ghat. Badrinath is the last and the final destination of the Chardham Yatra. It has an ancient temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Located at an altitude of 3133 meters, this religious site is nestled between Nar and Narayan mountain ranges. One of the most beautiful spots is the Neelkanth Peak, from where you can get an amazing view of the surrounding places and is covered with wild berries. Have Darshan at the temple and perform Pooja. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 13: Badrinath – Govindghat
On day 13, have your breakfast and hit the road to go to Govindghat. Once you reach, check-in at your hotel. This place is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. The day is free for leisure activities. Stay overnight.
Day 14: Govindghat - Haridwar - Delhi
After breakfast, get transported to Haridwar by road to board a train for Delhi. After reaching, check- in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free, if you can want you can simply relax or explore the surroundings on foot. Stay overnight.
Day 15: Departure from Delhi
Get transferred to the airport or the railway station to board a flight or a train to your onward destination.
